Poker is a card game in which players place bets by putting chips into the pot. A white chip (or the lightest-colored chip) is worth one ante or blind bet; a red chip is worth five whites; and a blue chip is worth twenty or more whites. A player may fold if they do not have a winning hand, but can also bet a large sum, or all of their chips\u2014called going all-in\u2014to stay in the game until a showdown.
